In preparation for Thanksgiving, today Mollie and I had planned to make turkeys out of pinecones. However, being that my daughter is 4, we made one and then she decided she wanted to do something different. Alas, the new symbol for Thanksgiving, the turkeys first cousin... the "lion-bee". Yes, I know you all want one to grace your Thanksgiving dinner table, however I think it is a one of a kind! Along with it she made a bear and of course the traditional Thanksgiving snake. It just wouldn't be the holidays without these special animals!

Oh, how did we get through our dinner without the Thanksgiving snake??? Next year we'll get it together! Such imagination, good for you for even doing a craft with her!
